The founders of the church (having a triconic plan) were the priests John and Preda Pleşescu and the deacon Marin Pleşescu. The painting was done after 1800, with the sponsoring of Nicolae Pleşoianu. The church is painted with animal scenes, landscapes, archangels, philosophers, soldier saints, martyrs and biblical themes such as The Last Judgement and Expulsion from Heaven of Adam and Eve.
