"The Annunciation" Climent Church, PIETRARII DE SUS, Commune PIETRARI (County VÂLCEA); 1742-1744, painters: George, Andrew and Anthony

The founders of the church of the former Climent Hermitage were: was founded by Climent, the Bishop of Râmnic and by the monk Macarius, John steward and Hilarion, abbot Bistrita monastery. Church triconic plan, was painted in two stages: first in 1744 by George and his brother Andrew with Philip and Danciu disciples, then, the priest Anthony in 1846. Paintings which still preserved are in the porch and central area of western facade.
